Why we made it

People living with conditions like FND, endometriosis and POTS are often not believed. Episodes come and go, often nobody else saw them, and by the time of the appointment the details have blurred.

Kind Witness keeps those details while they're fresh, in one private place, and turns them into a report your doctor can read in a couple of minutes.

Why the name

A witness saw what happened and backs you up. That's the job Kind Witness does for you, and "kind" is how we want it to feel: calm, plain and on your side.

What we promise

• Your diary stays on your phone, encrypted. We never see it.
• No account, no ads, no tracking.
• Plain numbers, never judgements. Kind Witness records and shares; it never diagnoses.
• The diary is free, and nothing you've recorded is ever locked away.

We're looking for clinicians to review our condition templates and patient guides. Every guide on this site lists its sources.
