A diary, not a doctor

Kind Witness helps you keep track of what happened and share it. Only your doctor can tell you what it means.

Last updated 29 October 2026

Kind Witness is a personal diary

It records what you tell it and helps you share it. It is not a medical device, and it does not diagnose, treat, cure, prevent or monitor any condition.

Summaries are plain counts

The app adds up what you recorded: how often, how long and what time of day. It doesn't judge whether that is good or bad, sets no limits, and never tells you what to do.

Templates are for recording

Kind Witness records what you tell it. It doesn't diagnose any condition, and choosing a template doesn't mean you have that condition.

Reports are your own record

Every page of a report says "Patient-recorded diary, not a clinical record". What's in it is what you, or someone with you, recorded.

For clinicians: what's in the report

This website is general information

The pages and guides on this website are general information, not medical advice. Ask your own doctor about your situation, and never ignore medical advice or delay getting it because of something you read here.

If something is new, severe or worrying you, contact your doctor. In an emergency, call your local emergency number (000 in Australia).
