If a joint has slipped out and the limb starts to change colour or goes completely numb, go to hospital or get help straight away. In an emergency, call your local emergency number (000 in Australia).
With hypermobile EDS (hEDS), joints can move further than usual and aren't always held securely in place, so they can slip partly or fully out of place. A subluxation is a partial dislocation. The EDS template asks about each time a joint slips, so the details are written down while they're fresh. Fill in what you can and skip anything you don't know. You can always come back later.
